Madball – “HeavenHell”

Another NON-christian band uplifts my heart MORE than the “christian” bands in the music industry.

Madball, Godfathers of NY hardcore, have put out a video called “HeavenHell” where singer Freddy “Madball” Cricien calls out to God in repentance for help and strength. Which reminds me alot of the book of Psalms.

Madball is a great band. Make sure you check’em out. It’s sad that bands that name the name of Jesus look like ants compared to bands like Madball and Hatebreed when it comes to Christian, positive, moral Lyrical content.

This guy is something! He is an amazingly talented man. God has gifted this dude to reach all kinds of people in all kinds of ways.

I also currently work as the art director for Facedown Records. Much of what comes from the label has my dirty fingerprints all over it. Facedown Records houses bands such as War Of Ages, Sleeping Giant, xDEATHSTARx, Impending Doom and many other metal thrashing madmen.

Speaking of Facedown bands, I currently play in a band called No Innocent Victim. We haven’t been doing much lately but hey, we’re pretty old dudes. Give us a break. Previous bands i’ve had the pleasure to be a part of: Jesus Wept,xDisciplex A.D., Prayer For A Fallen Angel and even perhaps a secret band or two. (hint: I hated the new movie.)

When I’ve got a free second of time do you think I enjoy relaxing evenings playing NES emulators on my computer while sipping mocha frappacinos? Heck no! I’m off tattooing at a cool shop in Murrieta California called New Times Tattoo. I tattoo on pre-scheduled weekends and the occasional renegade weeknight. Contact me for available bookings.

Hatebreed and Godly Men

The band hatebreed is a Hardcore band thats been around awhile. They are looked at as sort of pioneers of american hxc today.

Their music is very powerful and positive. They are not a christian band, but I would highly recommend checking them out.

They are an example, I think, of what christian men should be like. Christian men need to rise up and be manly. Like Jesus. The church is so full of feministic christianity it’s sickening. Men, we need to wake up and lead like God has called us to. Be a man, grow up, take your bible like a sword and charge into battle.

Everytime I see or hear this band it reminds me about the lack of good, strong christian men.

To the threshold. The imagery in this video is really powerful and freaking awesome. It charges me up everytime!

Just imagine if these guys were on our team! (if they were christians)
